This year, we’re passing more than medals. We’re passing belief.
#PassTheTorch is a year-long campaign inspired by the world’s biggest sporting moments, from the Winter Olympics to the World Cup and beyond. As women take centre stage on global platforms, we’re shining a light on the power they hold to inspire the next generation.
Sport gives girls more than physical strength. It builds confidence, resilience and leadership.
It teaches teamwork, courage and self-belief.
And when girls see women like them competing, leading and succeeding, they begin to believe they belong.
Too many girls fall out of love with sport because they feel judged, excluded or unseen. Representation changes that. Role models change that. Community changes that.
Throughout the year, we’ll be celebrating women in sport who are reaching back — sharing their stories, their lessons and their confidence — and passing the torch to girls everywhere.
Because when one generation lifts the next, the impact lasts far beyond the final whistle.

This International Women’s Day, we are celebrating and thanking the incredible role models who generously share their time, experiences, and stories with girls across Switzerland.
Inspired by the #GiveToGain theme, their willingness to give back helps young girls gain confidence, inspiration, and a broader vision of what their futures can hold.
Dhanya’s Journey as Young Ambassador: Reaching for the Stars
During her time as Young Ambassador for Inspiring Girls Switzerland, Dhanya helped bring inspiring conversations and global initiatives closer to young girls. Through collaborations with partners such as the European Space Agency and the Barbie Dream Gap Project, she connected with extraordinary role models and shared their stories with our community!
